Power of Women Tour

Old Boston’s North End wasn’t shaped just by the men who settled here. Women had a profound impact on life, too. From the mariner’s wives who held families together with but a thread to the women who founded the first playground in America. From early Colonial political intrigue to a real-life “Cinderella” story. From a world-renowned gay theater actress to the Saturday Evening Girls. Join us for a 90 minute walking tour and experience the power that women can wield when they have the courage of their convictions, the strength to effect change, and whose voices cannot be silenced.

“When my husband booked your tour I thought it was going to be all off the revolutionary war stuff that put me to sleep in high school. Who knew there were so many crazy stories! And yes, I'm recommending you to everyone who visits Boston!"
